For 30 years, WinShape Homes was comprised only of our Group Care program. Founded on Christ-centered principles, these homes were designed to cultivate healthy, long-term relationships for the children we serve. Today, Group Care at WinShape Homes keeps family bonds strong while ensuring that children in need are afforded the space and structure to flourish. Within the walls of a home filled with a large, loving family, these children receive bountiful support, expert care and room to grow.
In 2017 we launched our Foster Care program, which focuses on traditional foster care homes and services. By training parents to provide foster care in their own homes, we believe we can help address Georgia’s foster care crisis on a larger scale. Our Foster Care program provides temporary homes for foster children in Georgia, as well as long-term homes to children who need permanent placement.
We know fostering is an intense call, and those who answer need unwavering support. That’s why the Foster Care Program at WinShape Homes goes above and beyond to shepherd those parents through the process. A child’s success starts with foster parents who are supported at every turn. Whether they need homework help or an extra set of hands to prepare dinner, our unparalleled level of care starts in our partner churches and extends throughout our parents’ communities, ensuring they’re well-equipped to help a child flourish and find a way home.
