Jacqueline Burgess
Senior Clinical Care Counselor
Jacqueline Burgess began her role as Senior Counselor for WinShape Homes in March 2021. Before WinShape, she worked as the Executive Director of a child advocacy center, and she was a therapist at a community mental health center. She is specially trained in trauma counseling and as a child forensic interviewer. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in counseling from Auburn University. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in developmental psychology.
"I am the child of a third-generation, and I always knew that I would find my own way of ministering to others which is why I felt that WinShape was where the Lord wanted me to be. I am a mother of four and my husband and I are active foster parents. I love to run and hope to qualify for the Boston Marathon in the next year!" - Jackie Burgess
